We do not translate everything into all the languages of the world – instead, we work in a small, highly specialized team providing fully professional services in selected fields of expertise and language pairs.

We specialize in translation from Polish into English and from English into Polish, and have extended our offer by adding the Polish-Italian language pair. Why not Chinese or at least German or Spanish? The answer is simple: the owner of przeklad.com.pl does not speak these languages proficiently enough to personally verify the quality of the work by translators, editors and proofreaders.
At przeklad.com.pl we take quality very personally. We believe in procedures and adhere to the most stringent industry standards but, unlike large agencies, where project managers simply forward projects between clients and vendors unaware of what is inside, we take personal responsibility for the quality of our translations and verify them very thoroughly as a result.

Weronika Sobita, PhD
Certified (Sworn) Translator & Interpreter | Specialist Translator | Conference Interpreter
Weronika has over a decade of experience in translating highly specialised legal texts, including complex documentation produced in complicated transactions involving foreign businesses or in proceedings before international arbitration tribunals. On a daily basis, she handles translation and interpreting for major Polish law firms and foreign investors, as well as law firms from the United Kingdom and the United States.
As a conference interpreter, she has worked at hundreds of events in Poland and abroad (including the United Kingdom and Malta), mostly focusing on law, economics, art and cultural cooperation. She has interpreted many prominent speakers, including European Commissioners Carlos Moedas and Günther Hermann Oettinger, the Director of the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights Michael O’Flaherty or the Polish Human Rights Commissioner, Dr Adam Bodnar.
Apart from law and business, Weronika specializes in translation in the fields of visual arts, film as well as the art market and art history. She has translated a number of publications for the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Technology in Kraków, the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, and the John Paul II University in Krakow on art history, conservation and restoration of artworks, as well as architecture, museology and urban planning. Her projects include translations for the Holocaust Museum in Washington, D.C., or the CRICOTEKA Centre for Documentation of the Art of Tadeusz Kantor in Krakow. A dedicated film lover, she has interpreted during Krakow and Warsaw-based film festivals.
Having graduated from the Department of English Studies at the Jagiellonian University, Weronika completed a doctoral programme in linguistics and was conferred a cum laude PhD degree. Since 2014, she has been collaborating with the Chair of Translation Studies at the Jagiellonian University, where she teaches courses in legal translation and conference interpreting.
