About me
People and languages are my two biggest passions...   ja

.. and this is why I belong to a lucky group of people who do things they love. I am a linguist by education and I have been working as a freelance translator and interpreter since 2002.  I translate texts from different areas, though I specialize in law, economics, marketing, advertising and HR. I also have vast experience in translating texts in the field of healthcare and welfare, as well as culture and literature. Since January 2006 I have been a member of TEPIS – Polish Association of Sworn and Specialist Translators.

Apart from translating I also prepare glossaries – specialist lexical databases for companies and institutions. In my translation

work I use CAT tools which guarantee lexical and phraseological coherence and help to eliminate typical translators’ mistakes,

such as text omissions or the wrong order in long sequences of digits.

I love my work, but I also have other passions: I am a fan of good coffee, contemporary literature, smooth jazz and travelling.
